I've been concentrating on the digital inking more and more lately. I've been putting out feelers in the Digital Webbing community for comic book inking projects. I did a couple of test pages for independents (and posted them here Misc Comic Work. I'm also taking on some inking projects to beef up my inking portfolio. I've been searching the deviations here for pencil work that is inspiring to ink. I've found a few.
Still doing projects for Lead Slinger Studios whenever they call on me.
If you have pencil work that you think would make a good subject for my inking style, definitely drop me a line.
Also, looking at trying my hand at a different style of sketching. I'd been playing around with using charcoal and smear tools in Corel Painter (see Sketches). I really like how this rendering turned out. But I've been thinking about switching this over using pencil and maybe markers in Corel Painter. This was inspired by DA artist nebezial and this piece Superman/Supergirl. It looks like he's using pencil and markers (or maybe it's a wash, not sure). But I think pencil and markers will give me that same effect.
