Last week CGArena contacted me to write a tutorial on my Walter painting (fav.me/d4os448). This is very exciting!! I've been interested in writing tutorials but this helped kick the idea into reality.

Baltimore, MD - School 33 Art Center's Annual Fundraiser & Exhibition Fundraiser: April 13, 2012
This event is open to all residents even outside the city/state.

School 33 Art Center, a program of the Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts, invites artists to submit artwork for consideration for our annual fundraiser exhibition, LOTTA ART, presented by M&T Bank. This annual lottery-style event raises funds for the support and growth of School 33, the renowned Baltimore arts institution that has championed the arts for over 30 years through exhibitions, studio space, and arts education.
School 33 is pleased to announce that the venue for this year's event is, for the second year in a row, the award-winning Silo Point complex. All artwork will be available for preview on School 33's website.
To show our appreciation for your generous contribution of artwork, our selection committee will nominate three artists as "Best in Show". Each of these three artists will be awarded a solo exhibition at School 33 Art Center during the 2012-13 exhibition season.

Inking for Dark Brain Comics!!!

I just landed inking an issue at Dark Brain Comics www.darkbrain.com !!!
I can't say much more than that at this time. I've only had a few pages to work on so far but it looks great!!
I'll post some material as soon as I clear it.
I'm also fleshing out some digital painting ideas. Still in the early stages so nothing to post yet. But it's an idea I've had for some time. There are quite a few digital painters that paint the really nice parts of Baltimore, like the Science Center, Washingon Monument, Peabody, etc. I want to do something different. I want to show the decay in Baltimore. The vacant homes - the real Baltimore. I'll be using Corel Painter for this project. Anyway, I'll post sketches and stuff as I go along.
